This memorial portrait of David Joseph was drawn using 3-4 photos as reference. The baby's
clothing was changed to a specific article of clothing that the family wanted. Special features of David that the family remembered
were his long fingers and toes, and I made adjustments to the artwork to include them. The pillow and blankets are from my
imagination. David's mother had the artwork matted at her local frame shop, and the artwork was displayed at a Memorial Fund
drive at their church. The Memorial Fund was set up at the time of David's death, and donations to the fund go toward supporting
children's programs at the church.

For this remembrance portrait of of beautiful baby Gabrielle who was stillbon, her
mother provided additional photographs of a special dress and stuffed animal.
I 'put' the dress on the baby and drew baby so she was holding the teddy bear. The pillow
and bed linens are from the artist's imagination. Hand drawn text of baby's name and 'We Will Hold You in Heaven'
were added at the request of the baby's parents. Several families have requested the same sentiment to be placed on their
baby's portrait.
