I drew it while watching the news reports on TV that day. I used a photo my husband had taken at the Georgia Renaissance Fair. The original graphite pencil artwork was 14"x17".

 

As usual, I drew the eyes first. The fierce determination in the eagle's eyes really helped me through that difficult day.
