All pricing is for the original artwork, and does not include matting or framing.Artwork will be protected by
an archival clear art sleeve.
Prices can vary, depending on your specific needs.
The paper used is an acid free, professional-grade smooth bristol (much like cardstock in weight).
Because each artwork is custom, there can be some variance in the ordering procedure, but this is what usually happens:
1. Email me at
darla.dixon@gmail.com for more information or fill out the
Contact Form to receive a no-obligation quote on your project. Let me know if you would like any extras, like hand-lettering
added to the artwork.
2. Send photographs showing the person or pet to be drawn at least 1 - 2 inches across
in the face. (Your photos will be returned with the finished artwork).
The more large, clear and crisp your photo is, the better the portrait will be.
You may send these via e-mail or regular mail.
3. Half payment is required to begin work,
with the final half payable when your pencil portrait is completed.
Most clients enjoy the safety and convenience of PayPal, and I can send you a PayPal invoice.

4. A scan or digital photograph of the artwork
will be sent to you by email for preview and acceptance.
5. Upon your acceptance of the artwork, the finished pencil portrait will be mailed to you
via USPS Priority Mail.
